=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : ZDoom, ZDaemon, or any program that can read DEH files within WAD files. =========================================================================== Title : Punch-Out!! Modification WAD Date Finished : November 03, 2004 Author : Joseph "Dr. Lithius" Collins Email Address : Joseph_Collins AT Cox DOT net Other Files By Author : N/A. . .Yet Misc. Author Info : I play ZDaemon quite a bit. I'll try SkullTag in a bit, though. Description : This is a simple Modification WAD for advanced Doom engines. It turns the Pistol into Fists, and removes all the other weapons in the game. Combine this with WADs made for boxing, such as "NEWBOXE.WAD," and you've got yourself a winning combination. Additional Credits To : ATG_Death & Kilgore, makers of the Universal Rocket Arena WAD/DEH for showing me how to do this. =========================================================================== * Play Information * Game : Doom/Doom II(Advanced Engines Only) Map # : Any ExMx or MAPxx, Any WAD Single Player : Depends on the WAD and the player's threshold for pain. Cooperative 2-4 Player : Depends on the WAD and the players' threshold for pain. Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Depends on the WAD, but that's what this was made for. Other game styles : Could be used in SkullTag, ZDaemon Capture the Flag games, or virtually ANYTHING that supports reading DeHackEd files from WADs. Difficulty Settings : Not implemented * Construction * Base : New from scratch without outside assistance from the people who made the Universal Rocket Arena WAD. Build Time : Around five minutes, plus a half-hour of playtesting. . . .what? It's a mod, not an actual level, folks. Editor(s) used : Microsoft Notepad, DeHackEd, NewWadTools Known Bugs : None that I've seen. May Not Run With... : Original Doom/Doom II or some advanced engines. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use the contents of this file as a base for modification or reuse.
