Exam file name : d2m6ep00.zip Title conquered : DOOM 2 Master Author : Evgeny Potashnik Completion date : January 31, 1999 Game and version used : DooM 2 version 1.9 Log Entry : RFF-FRR-RFR ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19990109 0207 CHAL: D2M6 EP00 21 11 28 (00) 19990109 0207 : Evgeny Potashnik ------------------------------------------------------------------------- System used : AMD K-6 200 Mhz, 32MB RAM Controls used : Keyboard only, standard keys Free interpretation : Levels 1 to 7, UV with -fast and 100% kills, items and secrets Comments : Level 21: Kills - 100%, Items - 100%, Secrets - 0%, Time - 7:53 (par 4:00). I have to admit, this demo gives the impression that either I was drunk or I had no clue where I was going. Well, I wasn't drunk. Level 11: Kills - 101%, Items - 100%, Secrets - 100%, Time - 8:16 (par 3:30). Slow and clumsy most of the time, I managed to fall into the slime twice before I made it. Level 28: Kills - 100%, Items - 88%, Secrets - 100%, Time - 7:00 (par 7:00). With a much better performance than on the other two levels, I finish this one exactly in the par time, with 200% health and armour (it's pretty hard not to, there's megasphere right at the end). This level should be in the medium set in my opinion. There are 4 invulnerability spheres, so you're invulnerable whenever there is any action. Free (Levels 1 to 7): Kills - 100%, Items - 100%, Secrets - 100% Times: Level 1 - 2:14 (par 0:30) Level 2 - 2:56 (par 2:30) Level 3 - 3:44 (par 2:00) Level 4 - 2:48 (par 2:00) Level 5 - 6:11 (par 1:30) Level 6 - 7:52 (par 2:30) Level 7 - 3:02 (par 2:00) Total - 28:47 Don't think that I included the times here, because I pride myself on the speed of these demons. They are just there so that you can decide if you want to watch such a long demo or not. I had some health problems at the start, rather than on the later and harder levels. Twice a monster shot me THROUGH A WALL. Overall, not to hard as long as you play slowly and carefully. Author info : 17 years old, recently finished high school. I still use the keyboard, because I couldn't really be stuffed learning the mouse and my mouse is not that good anyway.
