Free interpretation : MAP 07 on Nightmare. Comments : MAP 05 (The Waste Tunnels) A very easy level, I had no trouble with it. MAP 17 (Tenements) I had no trouble with this one either, except in the Cacodemon room at the beginning during my first couple of tries, but now it's no problem. MAP 23 (Barrels O' Fun) This level I did have trouble with, mainly because I haven't played it much in the past. After a few tries, I got to the end of the level, but what did I find? I was out of ammo, and I still had to kill the chaingunners and Arch-Vile that are around the lava pit! Oh JOY! To save ammo, I then tried punching out the demons in the level. That was fun, since I really suck in close combat. I did it though, and I had plenty of ammo left over. MAP 07 (Dead Simple) A tough level, I had to practice extensively to win this one. My main problem was dying when going for the rocket launcher, the method I had used was running around the perimeter, pulling the switches, then, when I came to the rocket launcher, get it, then run around the perimeter again, killing the Mancubi. I kept dying before I could get the launcher, though. I then tried pulling the switch to bring down the platform with the launcher on it, then doubling back to get it. This method worked much better, as it also let me get the megasphere easily. Then, I tried hiding behind a wall, strafing out, shooting, then strafing back. This method also worked better than my previous one, and, fortunately, the fireballs didn't go through the wall. Killing the Arachnotrons was just a matter of being quick. Author info : This is my first DHT title, and I plan on going after Grand Master and Incubus next, don't know about Tyson.
