Comments : e1m1 - an easy level, but fun. e3m1 - This one took me awhile. I benefited greatly from looking at other Tysons. The dance is after I do in all of the cacodemons, before I go into the narrow hall to duke out the demons. I tried to lure the demons and the imps into a one-on-one situation, with mixed success. e1m8 - This is really pretty simple, once you see how other punchers have handled it. I miss a lot of punches in this one, but it doesn't matter - the spectres and demons go down just the same. I, too, show the three ways you can get back to the chaingun and shotgun areas before I check out. e3m7 ADDITION TO BASE (Yse it's HARD). This is about my 20th shot at this level. I was getting tempted to e-mail Frank and ask for clemency. The way I got through it was to get as many monsters going at the start as I could and then running around like an idiot to get them fighting. Of the "big" monsters, I only have to do in 3 cacodemons. I punch out most of the Lost Souls and a demon or three and use my pistol on the sergeants and cacodemons. Free interp - e2m2, berserk only. What can I say? This is a classic Tyson level and I just love punching imps and demons. This is not one of my better efforts on this level, but after e3m7 I wasn't up to much. Author info : I'm a biology professor with an obsession for DooM - too many late nights playing DooM while the rest of the family sleeps and I should be working on a lecture or sleeping! I'm also a marine combat vet of Vietnam... This is my second title.
