Controls used : Keyboard and mouse: Left Shift run A strafe left S back up D strafe right R mouse button forward L mouse button fire Free interpretation : E1M8 Tyson mode (Hard level set). Comments : Things may look a little jumpy. I had my mouse sensitivity cranked waaaay up (no particular reason), and maybe I shouldn't have had that cup of coffee just before playing.... I tried to keep things as exciting as possible. There is nothing worse than watching someone spend an hour creeping around a level sniping. E1M7: Really easy, so I tried to make things more interesting. Once I get the chainsaw, I use nothing but! Still a lot of shotgun guys and imps left, and I barely escape with my hide intact (health 11%). I almost left one sargeant behind; good thing I went back to check.... E2M5: Nothing special. Hard enough that I could not really goof off. E3M2: Much too easy for a hard level. After E3M1 you usually are in worse shape than if you start this level from scratch. Author info : I have just finished my MSc in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Toronto. Been playing Doom for a while, but only just found out about these titles. Whipped this one off in less than an hour; many more to follow....
