================================================================= *** This is a pre-release wad *** Title : Hexen Nimble Filename : HEXNIM2B.WAD Authors : Robert Alto (_BadCRC_) Email Address : ralto@kendaco.telebyte.net Description : A medium-sized HeXeN level, geared for people who can control their characters in a strategy deathmatch. Additional Credits to : id, raven for the games (duh) John McGraw for testing. ================================================================ * Play Information * Level # : MAP01 Single Player : Yes, if your objective is to kill every critter. I couldn't get key doors working so every door is a normal door. Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes, but it would probably suck. Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Oh yeah baybee, you know what I like. Difficulty Settings : Yes, different critters/items based on level. New Sounds : Negative. New Graphics : Negative. New Music : Negative. Demos Replaced : None. * Comments * I wasn't gonna release this wad, but after seeing the poor hexen wads that are out (levels with 3 or 4 rooms made up of one or two sectors) I decided some bigger hexen levels are needed. This wad is best played in deathmatch. To get the 4th weapon of any character, you need to collect all the weapon puzzle pieces. This is easily accomplished if you can manage to get the wings. * Construction * Base : I converted nimble.wad from doom1 to doom2, made tons of changes, then converted that wad to hexen the other day. Its much better in hexen, I love it. Editor(s) used : Deep 8.02, Heth .11b and .13b, ZenNode node builder. Build Time : About 24 hours...took a while to convert the textures and get the lifts and other goodies functioning. Known Bugs : The 2 flying dragons sometimes get caught on stuff. Haven't figured out exactly how they work yet. But they are too cool to leave out ;). * Copyright / Permissions * Do not modify and release this wad without contacting me first. Do not distribute this wad on any media without contacting me first. And if you can't notify me, tough shit. * Where to get this WAD * ftp.cdrom.com
