This was later taken out since I decided to take level progression in a different direction. MAP02: Anastas' Pledge Inspiration: Christen Klie's maps Originally meant for: Reverie Another Reverie reject, same reason as stated above. And yes, you can see the map is a head and two hands. It was just my being experimental and having fun in general. MAP03: Military Strength Inspiration: 1024 maps Originally meant for: Reverie I have never played any 1024 maps, but I decided to give it a go on what I thought it might be like. Of course I later extended it a little bit. MAP04: The Gutterway Inspiration: Plutonia MAP28 Originally meant for: Plutonia Revisited The deadline for the project was nearing and I remember we didn't have enough maps to meet that deadline. So I quickly whipped up this map in about a week's time and submitted it; but I guess everyone else had the same idea so we ended up getting too many maps. So it was narrowed down to everyone having at least one map in the megawad, which sounds fair and makes sense to me.
