Title : HellNite Filename : hellnite.zip Author : Peter Van Schevensteen (Sylvie@vub.vub.ac.be) Misc. Author Info : Master of Computer Science and DOOM fanatic Description : Pure Single Player DOOM2 level: ================================================================ None of this crap about aliens and anomalies of moons around planets. Also none of this crap about having to save the Earth from whatever. You are just walking around and feel like some killing, so there you are. Aliens or not: if they move, you kill'em. Of course they don't *like* that, but WHO CARES?? Anyway, Hellnite doesn't only mean a night in hell; it also means you're gonna see lots of hell knights. Why? Because they're my favorite monsters!! Ain't nothing like finishing off a hell knight with a super shotgun! Later on you'll see their big brothers too (some barons of hell) and occasionally some other slime balls. Just grease'em! No stairs, no elevators, no trap doors opening behind you and monsters shooting you in the back. No darkness, hell, if grease'em you might as well *enjoy* the sight of that brain splashing out of its skull!! Some tips: Never before has 'SHOOT FAST, SAVE OFTEN' been so appropriate as now. The knights and barons come in waves, shoot'em as they come. Don't run away from them or you'll be in trouble later on. If you DO run, ALWAYS run to the room you just came from. Traps will open, but almost never in sight, so be careful when you return to that room you swept 5 minutes ago. DON'T run, in fact, forget about those shift keys on your keyboard. And hit that F6 key after each wave of monsters. If you find a new weapon, chances are that you're gonna need it inmediately (or just before, muAHAHAHAHAAAAH!!) ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : map1 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Difficulty Settings : Yes New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : Completely from scratch Editor used : Dck, the first satisfactory editor I came across * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use this level as a base to build additional levels.
