================================================================ Title : Games Filename : GAMES.WAD Author : Ante Smolcic - Smola Email Address : asmolcic@foi.hr Misc. Author Info : I like death-metal and I play with keyboard only. Description : Games is a collection of 3 WADS. It is called Games because you have some rules and limitations while playing the levels. The rules are there to force the player to do some things (to run, to take care at what he shoots and when, to save ammo etc.). Basically, I tried to keep things dinamic. All three levels are wide ones and there is no hard enemies - just two Cybers in the first level. Anyway, see the description of each level at the end of this file. The two Cybers you cannot kill directly but by pressing the switch wall (it has not an usual switch texture) are set high in somekind of a window so they can't move. The switch wall is behind the demons and they are in a passage from wich they can't get out. You should aim very careful so you don't waste your rockets. Maybe, you could get into the passage and be safe from the Cyber-rockets, but you could get killed if you accidentaly hit the wall. MAP02 - Granicar ( <- it's an old Croatian game) You find yourself in the middle of a (sport) field. If you (or someone else) hit one of the 4 special walls that are in fact designed to be hit, a far door will open letting all various monsters go free. You should close that door with a special switch or they will COME very soon and in very BIG number. There is also somekind of abyss but you cannot fall into it. You may hide yourself in the exit tunnel in the middle of the field, but if you cross the shaddow line or the tunnel line too many times (10 times), a platform will raise the abyss bringing eight furious Revenants to you. So, don't go there unless you have to. Look at the white indicator just where the abyss is. When it comes to the ceilling you don't have much left. Hints: - In the beggining, just try to stay alive and kill those Mancubuses and Sergeants (AS SOON AS POSSIBLE). Then close the doors and wait for the first Revenant! - Watch out for the bullet-armed monsters, because they can open those doors too. - Don't have too many Imps running around! - Watch at the demo included where you can see how do I start the level. - Of, course, save often. MAP03 - Binary tree There are eight doors to be opened by pressing the right combination of switches (it's not so complicated). When you enter the door a platform will rise in the corridor nearby. YOU MUST ENTER THE DOORS IN A SEQUENCE or the wrong combination of platforms will raise. The SEQUENCE is defined by the numbers on the switches. If you did well the platforms will combine in stairs so you can reach the final switch. The problem is that you should press the switches depending on what number they have. Of course, if you have a lot of ammo you don't need to enter the doors untill the end. * I hope you'll find all this enjoying. Please, e-mail any comments or info about similar WADS.
