21/02/98======================================================== Title : Nutz - The artifical way to play Filename : NUTZ.WAD Author : Travers Dunne Email Address : tjdun2@mugc.cc.monash.edu.au Misc. Author Info : 19yr old computing student who's having a blast with the uni's network! "I really loathe arena style levels that are sucky attempts at creating the ultimate deathmatch level... And now I've gone and made this... FORSHAME!" Description : Medium to small arena for nice 2 player deathmatch. Doesnt really convey a place (see TECHCNTR.ZIP) but has a nice artifical layout that gives a fast deathmatch for 2+ players. This level prolly isnt suited for 4 (maybe even 3) but who knows in these topsy turvy times? Additional Credits to : id and the Raven crew, for creating the masterpieces that are Doom, Doom2 Heretic and Hexen. The HECTADECTAGON(tm) crew. Playtesting never got so mad! ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : MAP01 Single Player : No Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes Difficulty Settings : Yes - Skill 4-5 changes the plasma to a BFG New Sounds : No and the chaingun to a plasma New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None Strategy : The lowest weapon on this map is the chaingun, so grabbing what ever is closest assures good armament... then shoot back! There are little sniper spots to get those rushing for the plasma/(bfg on skill 4-5) so keep an ear out. Ammo is scarce on this level, and is positioned away from the weapon it corresponds to, so make sure your heading in the right direction if your running low. Hiding in the exit is a SIN. It can kill those also looking for a breather but it isnt of any real strategic camping importance. There is alot of health on this level so if your playing -altdeath a quick fix is only a run down the middle. * Construction * Base : New level Build time : About 3 to 4 hours Editor(s) used : DCKv2.2-f Known Bugs : None * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
