Author Info : One of many in the pursuit of the perfect wad Description : This wad has a main area with a raised platform called 'The Cage.' It has lots of goodies, but you are very exposed when you're in it. The only way out is through teleporters that are a little difficult to get to. Additional Credits to : Sean Leal and Chris Schulze for many lunches of playtesting. Notes : This wad is cool because there are MANY remote starting points with some stuff to get you going This means NO cheap kills. (Yeah, that means you have to EARN them all!) >>>> Play Information <<<< Deathmatch : 3+ Players reccomended! >>> Construction <<< Base : New wad from scratch Editor(s) used : EDMAP 1.3 Known Bugs : None Time to construct : About 10 hours ******************************************************************** MAP 02 ******************************************************************** Title : Arenas of Death Author : London (AKA Dr. Detroit) & Geoff Ansara Email Addres : london@bbs.annex.com Misc. Author Info : One of many in the pursuit of the perfect wad Description : This wad is seperated into multiple arenas all of which have their own aspects. Some arenas actually look down/up at each other! Additional Credits to : Geoff Ansara for many lunches of playtesting. Notes : I think this has some interesting features that you don't ordinarily find in a deathmatch wad. Be careful of the trench in the main arena! >>>> Play Information <<<< Deathmatch : 2 is sparce, 3 is reccomended, 4 is crowded >>> Construction <<< Base : New wad from scratch Editor(s) used : WADED Known Bugs : None Time to construct : Approx 30 hours ******************************************************************** MAP 03 ******************************************************************** Title : Hexagon of Death Author : London (AKA Dr. Detroit) Email Addres : london@bbs.annex.com Misc. Author Info : One of many in the pursuit of the perfect wad Description : This is an intimate wad with an interior room (strangely shaped like a hexagon) and an exterior ring around it. Inside the room are 1-way walls so you can see into the BFG area, but they can't see out. I hope you like my use of the default graphics. Additional Credits to : Michael Sharp and Chris Schulze for many lunches of playtesting. Notes : This wad is cool because there are MANY remote starting points with some stuff to get you going This means NO cheap kills. All playtests have shown that you've got to run for your life every second of this wad! Additional Credits to : Chris Schulze and Sean Leal for many lunches of playtesting. Author Info : This is the office I used to work in every day. Description : This is a floor plan of the office I work in. There are 2 FULL FLOORS of cubicles, offices, libraries, reception areas, etc. AND there is the roof! The elevators and staircases all work as you would expect them to. Additional Credits to : Michael Sharp and Chris Schulze for many lunches of playtesting. Notes : I'm sure I'm not the first person to make a wad file of his office, but I thought this particular office had alot of advantages when it comes to a deathmatch. Each office has some goodies, so look everywhere. ===> There are NO SECRETS in this level as that (in my opinion) defeats the balance of a deathmatch. You already have a BIG advantage if you've played this more than someone else. Have fun blowing people through windows! >>>> Play Information <<<< Deathmatch : 4 is HIGHLY reccomended Difficulty Settings : Yes >>> Construction <<< Base : My office (Duh) Editor(s) used : EDMAP 1.3 Known Bugs : None Time to construct : About 50 hours (All of which were on company time heheheh) ******************************************************************** MAP 07 ******************************************************************** Title : Octogon of Death Author : Chris Schulze Email Addres : Send email c/o: london@bbs.annex.com Misc. Author Info : One of many in the pursuit of the perfect wad Description : The octogon shaped main room has a themed offshoot on each side. The themes allow you to know where you are in the wad at all times. (It's hard to get turned around.) This wad is EXCELLENT because it combines long-range battles with close encounters. Additional Credits to : Michael Sharp and Sean Leal for many lunches of playtesting. Notes : This wad is cool because there are MANY remote starting points with some stuff to get you going This means NO cheap kills.
