THE STORY: They never learn to leave well enough alone. God-damn scientists and their incurable tendency to involuntarily open up gateways into arbitrary Hell dimensions. The hordes of Hell seem limitless in their numbers. No matter how many you kill, they just come back. Stronger every time. Out the shuttle window you see Saturn in the distance. It all started 1024 days ago when geologists noticed significant changes on Saturn's moon, Titan. The ice block had started melting. Probes discovered the moon's core was bustling with activity. Inexplicable quakes and heat from deep within. Instead of obliterating the moon with hundreds of nukes as would only have been prudent, the UAC instead constructed facilities on the moon to study the changes, intent on figuring out what was going on and how to take advantage of it somehow. Two weeks ago all contact with Titan ceased. Big surprise. This is where you come in. GAMEPLAY GUIDE: It is recommended to make use of the JUMP key when venturing into the depths of Titan. The CROUCH key however is disabled. Marcus Fenix would suffer a heart attack from playing this. While all levels are designed to be beatable from pistol start on ULTRA- VIOLENCE, most players are recommended to play through Titan 1024 on a lower difficulty first, such as HEY, NOT TOO ROUGH or HURT ME PLENTY. Some people think they're special and "all that." If this is you, go ahead and take a shot at ULTRA-VIOLENCE. It's not like there aren't harder levels out there anyway. NEW MONSTERS: Some changes are for the better. In your case though, things just changed for the worse. Cyber Baron Depending on how you look at it, he's either a really nasty Hell Baron or a puny Cyberdemon. Either way, it's good advice to dispose of him quickly as there are easier things than dodging rockets in narrow hallways. Hectebus Hell used to have a shortage of mobile artillery platforms. This relative of the Mancubus took it upon itself to correct the deficit.
