=========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : Update to : Advanced engine needed : ZDoom Primary purpose : Single+Coop play =========================================================================== Title : The Mountain Base Filename : mntnbase.wad Release date : December 14th, 2010 Author : Sterling Rathbun Email Address : strathbun@earthlink.net Other Files By Author : Misc. Author Info : Surprise! I'm 14 and I know how to spell. Description : A large tech base built on top of a dusty mountain. Simple, but it's my first real map and I just came up with it as I went. In the end, I think it turned out pretty good. IMPORTANT NOTE: The player is not supposed to jump when playing this level. Doing so allows you to pass over objects that are supposed to impede the player's progress until they are lowered to a level the player can walk over. When in doubt, just remember that this is a Vanilla DOOM II style map. Modern source-port trickery is generally not allowed. ;) Additional Credits to : My older brother Sheridan, who helped with the testing and the fixing and the prodding which was annoying after a while... =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : One new level Sounds : No Music : No Graphics : No Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : No Other files required : None * Play Information * Game : DOOM2 Map # : MAP09 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : Designed for Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Player starts only Other game styles : Difficulty Settings : Yes * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : Hurm.
