=========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : Update to : Advanced engine needed : GZDoom Primary purpose : Single player =========================================================================== Title : Extreme Terror Filename : exterror.pk3 Release date : 19 March 2016 Author : Alexa "yukib1t" Jones-Gonzales Email Address : alexa@partition36.com Other Files By Author : One Doomed Marine, Kill Misc. Author Info : ***DO NOT JUMP***! Unbind jump before plyaing if you're used to using it. No rocket jumping, either. Also, this map was designed for the fullscreen HUD (the one without the face). But it's not required. Music titles, in order that they appear: Extreme Terror, The Power Core, More, untitled ambience. Description : Demons have once again invaded a UAC military base. Since you seem to be good at stopping such invasions, the UAC has sent you to contain the situation. Additional Credits to : The creators of gothictx.wad. Jonathan Rimmer for Erratic Texture Pack 1. François-Xavier Delmotte aka OgrO_FiX for Ogro Texture Pack for Doom 2. Eriance, Blue Shadow, MagicWazard, Dreadopp, Ghastly Dragon, and Keksdose for the Overlord. Eriance, Blue Shadow, MagicWazard, Ghastly Dragon, Keksdose, and Sandypaper (Brightmaps) for the Helemental. Known Bugs : If the HUD text looks way too small, set the CVAR et_bigfont to 1 on the command line. This should force the use of BIGFONT instead of setting it according to the screen resolution. The switches in some guard towers work, but the texture doesn't cycle. I'm thinking it's because they're 3D floors. Also, there's a weird rendering bug with a door and a sloped sector about 1/3rd of the way through. I'm not sure why this happens. Lastly, I couldn't figure out how to hide the HUD with SBARINFO during the one cutscene. Sorry :( May Not Run With : Anything not derived from GZDoom. Vanilla ZDoom might work, but it won't look correct. Tested With : GZDoom 2.1.1, GZDoom 1.9.1, GZDoom 2.2pre-494 * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may use the contents of this file as a base for modification or reuse with proper credit.
