Author Info : Description : Discovering the Hell: The Invasion (DTHTI) is a 8 levels wad, which 2 of them are boss levels (one is secret). The levels are simple detailed being more focused in design and challenge itself, provi- ding some natural, tech base and hellish scenarios. The monster count is lower than normal, but they are stronger and faster, so be careful. For this reason, It is highly recommended to play with mouse look, and you will need to jump and crouch a bit, so don't be afraid of using it. All the songs are in mp3 format and were made by myself especially for THIS and FUTURE doom levels. If you like any, feel free to use on your wad, but id love to be contacted and credited. Here's a description of each level and music: LEVEL 1: Open Research Complex A linear medium-sized tech base level. Mostly enemies are weak and easy to kill, but be careful with some traps. In the middle section there's a secret with a super-shotgun, that will facilitate in some more burocratic areas. Music: Basic drum'n'bass track with synthetizer riff which gives some more technical and adrenalin feel. LEVEL 2: Ganymade's Fields More open spaced level, with a central green area with some ruins and trees. In beginning, thereīs a bifurcation which you can only choose one of the paths, leading to the central non-linear field. Music: A more calming but groovy sound from a electronic sound bass. LEVEL 3: Isolated Complex Startīs with a similar theme from previous level, leading to a tech base with some secrets experiments and lots of dump toxins. Music: A groovy rock track, starting with a 7/8 signature heavy section turning later to a 4/4 speed rock. LEVEL 4: Ganymade's Ruins Main ruin themed level, with some open field in the beginning. Some traps and small challenges are expected, as usual. Music: Beautiful and atmospheric eletronic sound, with lot of pads, leads and electronic bass. LEVEL 5: Undiscovered Cave A dark cave themed level. Very linear and long, some diffe- rent middle sections and a boss battle in the end. Music: Atmospheric track with some guitar and drums with reverb, giving a isolated and undiscovered feeling. LEVEL 6: The Other side Another more linear level, focused on hellish theme. Some open space in beginning with a castle in later sections. Music: groovy eletronic sound in the beginning with a heavier rock later section. LEVEL 7: One of the five rulers Final boss battle. Music: Same as level 1. LEVEL 8: Secret-Level: Desvastated Land Secret level. Beat the boss and get a prize (: Music: Same as level 6.
