Misc. Author Info : I still exist. Thanks for wading through the block of text above. Description: (cc4-tex.wad required!) The level was made for the Secret Santa Imitation project, led by Brian "Snakes" Knox. It is a small and tough map meant to imitate the style of Stuart "Forty-Two/stewboy" Rynn. Included in the zip is a postmortem I wrote for the project. Plot (if you can call it that): Our hero was in a bitter mood today. Maybe it was the planetoid's cloudy weather, or the fact that he had been wandering around a remote rock full of bloodthirsdy demons in the outermost regions of nebula 95 for the past few hours. As Earth's hero former investigated the "Drown Stone" monument for signs of Indigo, he couldn't help but feel a vague sense of familiarity. He stopped before almost stepping on a disk with the word "River" written on it in sharpie. Our hero shrugged as he popped it into his helmet's standard midi music drive. He had been listening to nothing but jazz funk up until now anyway, so it might be good for a change of pace. The tune was calming, but the less-than-friendly faces that began to suddenly surround our hero were not. Additional Credits to: Brian "Snakes" Knox for brainchild-ing and leading the project, Stuart "Forty-Two/stewboy" Rynn for making cool maps that I learned from, and for making the song "River" used in this map, Matt Tropiano for making and writing a postmortem on "Forsaken Overlook" for this project (a map meant to imitate my style, but which I think apes it), The many artists responsible for the Community Chest 4 resource pack (cc4-tex.wad). Andy Chen and Claude Martins, authors of the Invasion WADs from which the status bar came. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 1 Sounds : no Music : yes Graphics : yes Dehacked/BEX Patch : no Demos : no Other : no Other files required : nope * Play Information * Game : DOOM2 Map # : 1 Single Player : yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : yes Other game styles : heh Difficulty Settings : not really * Construction * Base : None.
