Rough restraints cut into your arms and legs. The pain makes minutes seem like hours, though it is uncertain how long you have been confined in this room of hell. Your friends hang fastened to the wall along side you, in similar shape. Every so often a mutant, as they have become known, walks past on a slow repetitive patrol. Sometimes they pause, taking the time to strike you, or one of your friends before proceeding on their way. You lose consciousness... You awake with a start as the clamp holding your right hand gives way. You look to see who has undone it, but find that simple metal fatigue is the cause of your reward. The door to the torture room opens, and one of the patrol mutants walks in. With haste, you position your arm so you appear to still be tightly restrained. The mutant walks into the room, and begins his leisurely stroll past the wall where your and your friends hang. You have a plan. You just hope none of the other guards hear you. The mutant pauses on your left to inflict a sickening blow to one of the others hanging on the wall. You bide your time. He continues on, walking towards you. He passes, but as he does, you focus all your energy into a punch aimed at his right temple. The mutant has no time to react, and you hit him with quite some force considering your condition. The mutant collapses, unconscious. Now time is your enemy. You must act before he awakes. Using your free hand, you use a piece of fatigued metal to pick the lock restraining your left arm. You collapse on the ground. You try frantically to undo the lock holding your feet bound. Finally it gives way. You pause to catch your breath. Your mind thinks quickly, and adrenaline makes your heart beat fast. You must free your friends. Quietly, you examine each one hanging on the wall. You free each one that is alive (possibly zero, depending on number of players :-)). Returning to the mutant, you take his pistol, and all the ammunition he is carrying. Quietly, with a single crack, you break his neck. You stand, thinking of your next move. There are four other guards patrolling the area. If you dash for the door leading outside, you will surely be spotted... * Where to get the file that this text file describes * The mirrors of the /idgames -ftp-archives: ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/pc/msdos/games/idgames/ http://public.ftp.planetmirror.com/pub/idgames/ http://www.gamers.org/pub/idgames/ ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/vendors/idgames/ http://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/vendors/idgames/ ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/games/idgames/ http://ftp.chg.ru/pub/games/idgames/ ftp://ftp.mancubus.net/pub/idgames/ http://ftp.mancubus.net/pub/idgames/ http://youfailit.net/pub/idgames/ http://ftp.fdn.fr/games/idgames/ ftp://ftp.clinet.fi/pub/mirrors/archives.3dgamers.com/idgames/ ftp://ftp.task.gda.pl/pub/games/idgames/ ftp://ftp.netc.pt/pub/idgames/ http://ftp.netc.pt/pub/idgames/ http://crydee.sai.msu.ru/ftproot/pub/rec/games/idgames/ The upload-server of the /idgames-archives is: ftp://archives.3dgamers.com/pub/idgames/ But please use the above listed mirrors for your downloads. =========================================================================== Submitted to the /idgames-ftp-archives by FunDuke --> funduke@hotmail.com The review at the beginning of this template has been written by FunDuke.
