You are given the option to patch several of the floor and ceiling textures. While this is not necessary, we feel that it looks better. This will alter your main wad file but your original textures will be backed up and can be restored by selecting the relevent option from the menu. If you want to play deathmatch - organise it yourself and add it to the menu by editing doomtrek.mnu * Scenario * DOOMTrek - E1M1 - NCC-1701-D Stardate 47110.12 The Enterprise has been attacked by a group of aliens and their zombified human slaves. After a fierce battle, the aliens have taken control of key areas of the ship, trapping the surviving crewembers on Deck 12. As the aliens have control of the shuttle bay and security systems on the bridge, Starfleet cannot attempt an ordinary rescue. There is one option which might work: to beam a single group of marines into unoccupied rooms (taking advantage of gaps in their sensor net) and have them clear the way for a rescue team. Once the beam-in is over, the aliens will close the gaps in their defences - no reinforcement is possible! Your mission is to clear the ship of alien invaders to make it safe for a rescue team to arrive. The landing bay doors have been electronically sealed, the only way to let a shuttle in is to find the yellow computer key. - this is your key objective (no pun intended!). It will not be an easy mission. The battle caused damage to many important shipboard systems: several of the turbolifts are inoperative, some security forcefields are still in place, and the in-ship transporter circuits are faulty - stepping onto the pad may not transport you where you expect it will! Live long and prosper (by blasting the shit out of everything you see). - You've cleared the Enterprise of most of the aliens, but some still control Deck 21, fighting a desparate battle to stay alive. The rest of the rescue team are occupied, so its up to you to clear this deck of aliens. -The Enterprise is back in safe hands and Starfleet have found the aliens' base in this system. A 5-strong team was sent down in a cargo shuttle to wipe out any aliens remaining in their fortress on the planet. All transmissions from this shuttle have ceased. You'll be beamed into the shuttle to determine whether there is an alien on board and, if possible, to complete the mission by eradicating the alien presence in the temple on the planet surface. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
